EDUCATED THE PUBLIC ON ISSUES GERMANE TO THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS BY INFORMING THEM ABOUT LEGISLATIVE CONSERVATION AGENDAS, SENDING INFORMATION AND FACT SHEETS TO OUR MEMBERS, BUILDING LONG-TERM CAPACITY AND POWER FOR COLORADO'S ENVIRONMENT THROUGH GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING, AND INFLUENCING PUBLIC OPINION ON A NON-PARTISAN BASIS ON THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: PUBLIC LANDS & WILDERNESS, CUTTING CARBON POLLUTION, CLEAN ENERGY, WATER QUANTITY & QUALITY, AND OTHER CONSERVATION ISSUES AND BROADENING THE BASE OF CONSERVATION VOTERS BY ENGAGING HISTORICALLY UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES TO INVOLVE CITIZENS IN CONSERVATION ISSUES.


EDUCATED AND LOBBIED COLORADO STATE LEGISLATURE AND OTHER STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS ON CONSERVATION ISSUES-REGULATING GREENHOUSE GASES AND CARBON POLLUTION; THWARTING DETRIMENTAL IMPACTS OF OIL AND GAS DRILLING; IMPROVING STANDARDS FOR CLEAR AIR AND WATER; MANAGING OUR WATER SUPPLY; AND LEADING THE NATION IN OUR USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY -- INCLUDING HOLDING ELECTED LEADERS ACCOUNTABLE THROUGH TARGETED MEDIA CAMPAIGNS AND PUBLICATIONS LIKE OUR LEGISLATIVE CONSERVATION SCORECARD.
