THE MISSION OF CHAMPIONSHIP ACADEMY OF DISTINCTION IS TO FOSTER INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR PARENTS, STUDENTS, AND STAFF IN EFFORTS TO BUILD A SAFE AND NURTURING FAMILY ATMOSPHERE THAT CELEBRATES DIVERSE CULTURES AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, WHILE PROVIDING HOLISTIC AND PERSONALIZED DATA-DRIVEN INSTRUCTION TAILORED TO MEET THE INDIVIDUAL ACADEMIC GOALS OF OUR STUDENTS.

OPERATION OF NOT-FOR-PROFIT CHARTER SCHOOL AND RELATED ACTIVITIES.CHAMPIONSHIP ACADEMY OF DISTINCTION IS A "B" SCHOOL ON ITS WAY TO EXCELLENCE. THE SCHOOL ESTABLISHED A FOOTPRINT IN THE NEW AND UP AND COMING PARKVIEW AT HILLCREST HOUSING COMMUNITY WHICH SURROUNDS THE SCHOOL AND HAS 650 RECENTLY BUILT HOMES AND CONDOMINIUMS ($400K-650K). EVIDENCE OF THAT IS IN THE 25% GROWTH IT REALIZED IN MIDDLE SCHOOL ENROLLMENT THIS YEAR AND 50% GROWTH IN ITS KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM. CHAMPIONSHIP ACADEMY OF DISTINCTION IS ALSO CHANGING THE FACE OF EDUCATION THROUGH SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF ITS DESTINY PROGRAM THIS YEAR. THE PROGRAM IS A COLLEGE & CAREER AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR K-8 STUDENTS TO ENGAGE THEM IN HANDS-ON AND INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES TO CULTIVATE THEIR SKILLS AND INTERESTS IN THE WORLD OF WORK AND ALLOW THEM TO CREATE A PATH TO ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS AND DISCOVER THEIR DESTINY". STUDENTS HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO TRANSCEND THE TRADITIONAL DISCIPLINES OF MATH,1 SCIENCE, SOCIAL STUDIES AND LANGUAGE ARTS AND CONNECT THEM TO REAL LIFE DISCIPLINES. ACADEMIC SUCCESS IS EVIDENCED THROUGH A HIGHLY RECRUITED 8TH GRADE GRADUATING CLASS THAT BOASTS 85% OF ITS STUDENTS QUALIFIED FOR HIGH SCHOOL MAGNET PROGRAMS. CHAMPIONSHIP ALSO MEANS CHAMPIONSHIPS AS THE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS HAVE WON 2 CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE LAST YEAR IN FLAG FOOTBALL AND SOCCER.
