THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH THIS CORPORATION IS FORMED ARE EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC AND CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING: (A) THIS CORPORATION IS FORMED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986 OR THE CORRESPONDING PROVISION OF ANY FUTURE UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE LAW. (B) TO AID, SUPPORT, AND ASSIST BY GIFTS, CONTRIBUTIONS, OR OTHERWISE, OTHER CORPORATIONS, COMMUNITY CHESTS, FUNDS AND FOUNDATIONS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, NO PART OF THE NET EARNINGS OF WHICH INURES TO THE BENEFIT OF ANY PRIVATE SHAREHOLDER OR INDIVIDUAL AND NO SUBSTANTIAL PART OF THE ACTIVITIES OF WHICH IS CARRYING ON PROPAGANDA, OR OTHERWISE ATTEMPTING TO INFLUENCE LEGISLATION. GLOBAL OUTREACH CHARTER ACADEMY (GOCA) PROVIDES A HIGH QUALITY, STANDARDS- BASED EDUCATION TO ALL STUDENTS FROM KINDERGARTEN TO 12TH GRADE, WHICH INCLUDES FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION. GOCA IS A TUITION FREE PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL. GOCA RECEIVED APPROXIMATELY 5.50 MILLION IN FEDERAL AND STATE GRANTS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. THE FEDERAL FUNDS WERE USED TO PAY FOR VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. ALSO, GOCA PROVIDED HOT LUNCHES AND BREAKFAST TO ITS STUDENTS, WHICH WAS SUPPORTED BY FEDERAL GRANT FUNDS. THE SCHOOL RECEIVED CAPITAL OUTLAY FUNDS FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA, WHICH WAS USED TO PAY OCCUPANCY COSTS.
