SAN MARCOS KIDS HELPING KIDS FOUNDATION IS A STUDENT-RUN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION BASED AT SAN MARCOS HIGH SCHOOL. STUDENTS RAISE MONEY THROUGH EVENTS DURING THE YEAR IN ORDER TO GIVE MONEY BACK TO LOCAL OR GLOBAL ORGANIZATIONS AND DISADVANTAGED YOUTH. THE SUCCESSFUL PRODUCTION OF EVENTS IS ALSO A PART OF OUR MISSION. STUDENTS GAIN LEADERSHIP, ORGANIZATIONAL, NEGOTIATION, FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS THROUGH THE OPERATIONS OF THE FOUNDATION. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED 6/30/2023, THE FOUNDATION REMAINED ON HIATUS DUE TO COVID-19 AND HAD VERY LIMITED ACTIVITY.
