THE BLOOMINGTON GIRLS HOCKEY CLUB IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING A FUN, FAIR, SAFE AND DRUG-FREE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL YOUTH GIRLS HOCKEY PLAYERS IN BLOOMINGTON. IT WILL STRIVE TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE PLAYERS, COACHES, PARENTS AND VOLUNTEERS DEVELOP A LOVE FOR THE GAME, AND A TRUE RESPECT FOR GIRLS HOCKEY PLAYERS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. THE PRIMARY FOCUS WILL BE TO BUILD CHARACTER, SPORTSMANSHIP, COMPETITIVENESS, CONFIDENCE AND SELF-ESTEEM, AND PLAYERS WILL LEARN THE VALUE OF HARD WORK, INTEGRITY, DISCIPLINE, TEAMWORK, COMMITMENT AND RESPECT. THE ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO PREPARE BLOOMINGTON GIRLS HOCKEY PLAYERS FOR HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY AND BEYOND, AND THE LIFE LESSONS LEARNED ON AND OFF THE ICE WILL SHAPE THE FUTURE OF EVERY PLAYER IN THE ORGANIZATION.
