TEAM AFRICA RISING (TAR) SUCCESSFULLY PROCURED AND DISTRIBUTED 135 TRAINERS INTO 7 COUNTRIES IN AFRICA. THESE TRAINERS HELPED LAUNCH PROFESSIONAL CAREERS FOR ALL DISCIPLINES OF CYCLISTS IN EAST AFRICA ALONG WITH EXPANSION INTO WEST AFRICA (BENIN, SIERRA LEONE AND TOGO). EVEN WITH THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC NO LONGER IN THE ACUTE PHASE, TAR CONTINUES TO MAKE USE OF THE VIRTUAL TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS TO DETECT, TEST, TRAIN AND DEVELOP AFRICAN CYCLISTS.THIS PLATFORM AND TALENT IDENTIFCATION SYSTEM IS NOW AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE TAR ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND THROUGH ITS EXPANSION, TAR WILL BE POSITIONED TO DEVELOP TALENT AND PROVIDE DATA TO PROFESSIONAL TEAMS.
