THE ORGANIZATION HAS TWO GRANT-MAKING PROGRAMS 1) TO ASSIST IN THE IMMEDIATE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS AND/OR FAMILIES IMPACTED BY A TRAGIC EVENT, AND 2) TO ASSIST VICTIMS OF THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS A VARIETY OF FUNDRAISING EVENTS, INCLUDING ROAD RACES, ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS, AND A GOLF TOURNAMENT, IN ORDER TO RAISE A POOL OF MATCHING FUNDS TO MEET IMMEDIATE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS IMPACTED BY TRAGEDY AND TO EXPAND THE ORGANIZATION'S GRANT-MAKING PROGRAM
