HULIAU GREEN EVENTS HELPS DIVERT WASTE FROM THE LANDFILL THROUGH COMPOSTING AND RECYCLYING, AND THROUGH ZERO WASTE EDUCATION AT EVENTS AND IN SCHOOLS. THE PROGRAM SERVES BETWEEN 20-50K PEOPLE A YEAR.


HULIAU ENVIRONMENTAL FILMAKING CLUB: PROGRAM SERVES 35-50 STUDENTS ON MAUI AND MOLOKA'I. THE PROGRAM INVOLVES 400-600 HOURS OF ASSISTING STUDENTS IN MAKING 7-15 FILMS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES.


THE HULIAU CLIMATE LITERACY PROGRAM SERVES 500-800 STUDENTS AND TEACHERS PER YEAR THROUGH HANDS-ON CLIMATE SCIENCE ACTIVITIES AND BY ENGAGING STUDENTS IN LOCAL SOLUTION-BASED PROJECTS.
