THE PURPOSE OF THE MAGAZINE IS TO INFORM FARMERS AND OTHER KEY STAKEHOLDERS ABOUT INDIANA CORN GROWING ASSOCIATION EVENTS AND ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES. IN ADDITION, THE MAGAZINE INCLUDES ARTICLES ABOUT CHECKOFF PROGRAMS TO PROVIDE TIMELY INFORMATION ABOUT THOSE PROGRAMS TO FARMERS AND STAKEHOLDERS.
ICGA HOSTS A POLICY FORUM ANNUALLY AND WEBINARS AS NEEDED TO COMMUNICATE RELEVANT TOPICS OF INTEREST TO PRODUCERS, CORPORATE SPONSORS, STAKEHOLDERS, AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS. IN ADDITION, ICGA HOSTS SHOP TALKS AT FARMS AND COFFEE SHOP TALKS WHERE ELECTED OFFICIALS GET A CHANCE TO TALK TO PRODUCERS ABOUT THEIR CONCERNS ON ISSUES RELEVANT TO THE CORN INDUSTRY, ETHANOL PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OR OTHER AGRICULTURAL ISSUES. AT THESE SHOP TALKS PRODUCERS MAY ALSO BE ABLE TO RECEIVE PARP CREDITS.
