THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH REGULAR ANNUAL CONFERENCES, PUBLICATIONS AND OTHER FORMS OF COMMUNICATION.

TERMIS-AM AWARDS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED IMMENSELY TO THE FIELD OF TISSUE ENGINEERING AND REGENERATIVE MEDICINE - IN 2021, TERMIS-AM PRESENTED THE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, SENIOR SCIENTIST AWARD, COMMERCIALIZATION/INNOVATION AWARD AND THE MARY ANN LIEBERT INC. OUTSTANDING STUDENT AWARD. DUE TO A CONFERENCE NOT BEING CONDUCTED IN PERSON, ONLY THE MARY ANN LIEBERT, INC. OUTSTANDING STUDENT AWARD RECIPIENT RECEIVED AN HONORARIUM OF $500.
TERMIS-AM CONTINUED ITS MEMEBERSHIP TO THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL AND BIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING COUNCIL OF SOCIETIES (AIMBE'S COS). AIMBE'S COS PROVIDES A COLLABORATIVE FORUM FOR SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS IN MEDICAL AND BIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING, ENCOURAGES INTERSOCIETY DIALOGUE AND OFFERS A WAY FOR THE COORDINATION OF ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE COS ORGANIZATION. AIMBE WAIVED THE MEMBERSHIP FEE IN 2021, DUE TO COVID.
ORGANIZATION OF JOINT SCIENTIFIC WEBINARS. THE WEBINARS WERE ORGANIZED FOR CROSS PROMOTION OF THE SOCIETY THROUGH TERMIS-AM'S EXTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE SOCIETY FOR BIOMATERIALS (SFB).WEBINARS WERE CONDUCTED FOR MEMBERS TO ATTEND IN LIEU OF THE TERMIS-AM CONFERENCE WHICH WAS POSTPONED FROM 2021 TO JULY, 2022, DUE TO COVID.
