ALICE VISIONARY FOUNDATION PROJECT (AVFP) OFFERS EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS TO GIRLS/ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN (OVC), PROVIDES A FEEDING PROGRAM TO OVC, CARRIES OUT GIRLS' EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS AND GIRL'S MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE MUHORONI DISTRICT IN KISUMU COUNTY KENYA, AFRICA. THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS MADE TO OUR SISTER ORGANIZATION IN KENYA, AFRICA, WE WERE ABLE TO CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS FOR 2022: * EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: WE WERE ABLE TO SUPPORT 23 ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN (OVC), CONSISTING OF 11 ELEMENTARY AND 12 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. * LUNCH FEEDING PROGRAM: 11 ELEMENTARY OVC STUDENTS. * HOME FEEDING PROGRAM: 4 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS. * BIBLE STUDY: 68 CHILDREN/TEENS PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROGRAM. * LIFE SKILLS AND TEAM BUILDING TRAINING: 78 TEENS COMPLETED THIS TRAINING * MENSTRUAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY - 68 GIRLS WERE SUPPORTED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM * CAREGIVERS/GUARDIANS COUNSELING AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT: 11 OF OUR CAREGIVERS/GUARDIANS. * SPECIAL READING AND WRITING TRAINING SESSIONS: 9 JUNIOR OVC
