TO RESPOND TO THE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY WITH A FOCUS ON SPANISH SPEAKING, HIGH RISK PREGNANT WOMEN AND SICK OR DISABLED BABIES AND CHILDREN. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP THEM FIND APPROPRIATE HEALTHCARE TO MEET THEIR PHYSICAL NEEDS AND TO MINISTER TO THEIR SPIRITUAL NEEDS.

WE PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION, TRANSLATION, INSURANCE, ELIGIBILITY COUNSELING AND CARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO OVER 200 FAMILIES, ATTENDING OVER 20 MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS PER MONTH AND DRIVING IN EXCESS OF 5,000 MILES ANNUALLY. WE HOLD A WEEKLY SESSION FOR THE MOTHERS OF THE FAMILIES WE MINISTER TO, PROVIDING DAYCARE FOR THEIR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN WHILE THE MOTHERS FOCUS ON SHARING BEST PRACTICES, COPING SKILLS AND RECEIVE BIBLE STUDY. WE COORDINATE MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS AND HELP PARENTS UNDERSTAND TREATMENT PROTOCALS AND COMMUNICATE WITH SCHOOL NURSES TO ASSURE CONTINUITY OF CARE THAT WOULD NOT OTHERWISE EXIST BECAUSE OF LANGUAGE BARRIERS. WE PROVIDE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO PARENTS OF MEDICALLY FRAGILE CHILDREN AND TO HIGH RISK PREGNANT WOMEN.
