M.E.E PROVIDES THE VERY BEST ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION THROUGH OUR BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, AND OUR CHALLENGE AND RETREAT CENTER. THE MOUNTAINSIDE CAMPUS IS HOME TO A VAST NUMBER OF ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES, ONE OF THE LARGEST HIGH AND LOW ROPES COURSES IN MARYLAND AND MANY OTHER AMENITIES. ALL OF THE FACILITIES ON THE MOUNTAINSIDE CAMPUS ARE USED TO TEACH ADULTS AND CHILDREN HOW TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT IN A FUN AND ENGAGING WAY. THE MOUNTAINSIDE MORNING & AFTERSCHOOL CLUB IS AN EXCEPTIONAL PROGRAM OFFERED TO URBANA, ELEMENTARY, URBANA MIDDLE AND CENTERVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FAMILIES. KIDS SPEND THEIR MORNINGS AND AFTERNOONS AT THE MOUNTAINSIDE CAMPUS. THERE THEY WILL PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES THAT INCLUDE CLIMBING AND HIGH ROPES, LOW ROPES AND TEAMBUILDING, HIKING AND GARDENING. THE M.E.E CURRICULUM COVERS A RANGE OF TOPICS FROM RENEWABLE ENERGY TO WILDLIFE CONSERVATION.
