THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS ONE PROGRAM EVENT PER YEAR. THE IMMEDIATE IMPACT BREAST CANCER WALK IS A VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN AND COMMUNITY-BASED FUNDRAISING WALK THAT TAKES PLACE IN SAN FRANCISCO. THE EVENT'S FOCUS IS TO RAISE AND GRANT FUNDS SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA BREAST CANCER NONPROFITS PROVIDING SERVICES TO THE UNDER-SERVED AND ALSO, AS OF 2013, METASTATIC DISEASE RESEARCH. THE EVENT HAS ENABLED GRANTS TOTALING OVER $580,000 SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN 2012 AND HAS HELPED OVER 750 PEOPLE. GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO BREAST CANCER EMERGENCY FUND, CHARLOTTE MAXWELL COMPLIMENTARY CLINIC, FRIEND TO FRIEND FUND AND METAVIVOR RESEARCH AND SUPPORT, INC.
