THE WOODLAND HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE WOODLAND HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT AND ITS COMMUNITIES BY STRENGTHENING THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF OUR CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS TO GRADUATING STUDENTS OF THE WOODLAND HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT WHO ARE INTERESTED IN PURSUING POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION AND MINI-GRANTS TO EDUCATORS WHO HAVE CREATIVE TEACHING IDEAS THAT IMPROVE THE STUDENT LEARNING EXPERIENCE. IN ADDITION, THROUGH THE PROGRAM H.U.G.S. (HELPING UNCONDITIONALLY AND GIVING SUPPORT) THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS COMMUNITY EVENTS AND IS A WOODLAND HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT WIDE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM SUPPORTING TEACHERS IN THE DISTRICT.

THE FOUNDATION IS HELPING BY ALLOWING CREATIVE IDEAS IN TEACHING THAT ARE SUBMITTED BY TEACHERS IN THE DISTRICT TO RECEIVE MINI-GRANTS TO FUND THOSE IDEAS.


IN ORDER FOR STUDENTS TO DEMONSTRATE SUCCESS, THE FOUNDATION GIVES SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS THAT MEET THE CRITERIA OF THE SCHOLARSHIP.


THE H.U.G.S. (HELPING UNCONDITIONALLY AND GIVING SUPPORT) PROGRAM HOSTS COMMUNITY EVENTS AND IS A WHSD DISTRICT-WIDE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM SUPPORTING TEACHERS IN ALL WOODLAND HILLS BUILDINGS.


THE FOUNDATION PARTNERED WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO RAISE FUNDS TO PURCHASE CHROMEBOOKS AND I-PADS FOR THE STUDENT BODY.
