THE AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY FOUNDATION POSITIVELY IMPACTS THE LIVES OF OUR VETERANS, MILITARY, AND THEIR FAMILIES BY FUNDING PROGRAMS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY TODAY AND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.

THE AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY (ALA) FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO ENSURE THE LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY OF THE ALA. THE ALA FOUNDATION AWARDED $87,275 TO ALA ENTITIES VIA THIRD PARTY SUB GRANTS THAT SUPPORTED YOUTH, EDUCATION, AND VETERANS' PROGRAMS; AND AWARDED $30,000 IN SUBGRANTS TO THE ALA IN SUPPORT OF THE NATIONAL VETERANS CREATIVE ARTS FESTIVAL AND VETERAN PROGRAMS. THE ALA FOUNDATION GRANTED $14,376 TO SUPPORT THE ALA GIRLS NATION PROGRAM. THE ALA FOUNDATION AWARDED THE ALA $65,000 TO SUPPORT ITS CO-PRESENTATION OF THE NATIONAL VETERANS CREATIVE ARTS FESTIVAL THAT REWARDS THE ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENTS OF VETERANS RECEIVING ART THERAPY THROUGH THE VA HEALTHCARE SYSTEM, AND ADDITIONALLY AWARDED $10,928 TO AFFILIATES SUPPORTING LOCAL VETERANS' CREATIVE ARTS FESTIVALS. THE ALA FOUNDATION AWARDED $43,714 THAT SUPPORTED EMERGENT NEEDS OF VETERANS. THE ALA FOUNDATION AWARDED $24,643 TO DEPARTMENTS SUPPORTING MISSION DELIVERY.
