THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED RAILROAD LABORERS AND THEIR SUPPORTING ORG'S WITH SPECIALIZEDTRAINING AND EQUIPMENT IN ORDER TO PROMOTE RAIL TECHNOLOGY, SAFETY, EDUCATION ANDHISTORY WITHIN THEIR FIELD.
THE FOUNDATION UNDERTOOK A PROJECT WITH THE RAILROADERS HERITAGE CORP TO ESTABLISH THE LUTHER G SMITH MEMORIAL YARD ON THE GROUNDS OF THE RAILROADER'S MEMORIAL MUSEUM.
THE FOUNDATION ASSISTED THE RAILROADERS HERITAGE CORP WITH NEEDED REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO THE ROOF OF THE RAILROADER'S MUSEUM
THE FOUNDATION ASSISTED THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF TRANSPORTATION IN THE CREATION OF AN EDUCATIONAL DISPLAY FEATURING THE BOSTON & PROVIDENCE RAILROAD PASSENGER COACH (1833).
