OUR ORGANIZATION HOSTED A REGIONAL CONFERENCE FOR THE CONTINUING EDUCATION OF SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS. THERE WERE 354 ATTENDEES. IN ADDITION, WE PROCESSED 73 UNIQUE CONTINUING EDUCATION ACTIVITIES FOR PROFESSIONAL CREDIT, HOSTED COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS, DEVELOPED A MENTORSHIP PROGRAM FOR NEW INTERPRETERS, WAS INVOLVED ON THE STATE LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE FOR THE REGULATION OF SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS, AND SENT OUT COMMUNICATION TO STAKEHOLDERS AND MEMBERSHIP REGARDING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INDUSTRY CHANGES, AND ORGANIZATIONAL UPDATES.
