MONTHLY MEETINGS ALLOW THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS (MEMBERS AS WELL AS NON-MEMBERS) TO DISCUSS CURRENT INVESTMENT ISSUES, STRATEGIES AND TECHNIQUES. OFTEN A GUEST SPEAKER IS INVOLVED IN THE MEETING TO DISCUSS VARIOUS COMPANIES, ECONOMIC OR FINANCIAL MATTERS. VARIOUS CURRENT INFORMATION IS EXCHANGED WHICH BENEFITS THE LOCAL INVESTMENT COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE.
THE FINANCIAL LITERACY CAMPAIGN ENTAILS A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS INCLUDING EDUCATING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ON PERSONAL FINANCE CONCEPTS AND CONDUCTING A STUDENT PANEL IN CONJUNCTION WITH "THE MISSING SEMESTER" BOOK/PROGRAM. A COLLEGIATE PERSONAL FINANCIAL PLANNING COMPETITION IS CONDUCTED IN WHICH COLLEGE STUDENTS DEVELOP A FINANCIAL PLAN TO PREPARE FOR THEIR FINANCIAL FUTURE. QUALIFYING PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT AND TOP JUDGED PLANS RECEIVE A FINANCIAL REWARD.
THE FISCAL YEAR PRESENTED CHALLENGES IN REACHING MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION. THEREFORE A PODCAST WAS ESTABLISHED AND PRESENTED ON A MONTHLY BASIS TO KEEP MEMBERS INFORMED AND PROVIDED A MEANS TO STAY IN CONTACT DUE TO REMOTE WORK MANDATES IN THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA.
