Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3

WE BEGAN SUPPORTING THE BOULDER CITY 4-H CLUB ROBOTICS TEAM IN 2019 BY DONATING FUNDS TO UPGRADE THEIR ROBOTS. 4-H IS A COMMUNITY OF YOUNG PEOPLE ACROSS AMERICA LEARNING LEADERSHIP, CITIZENSHIP AND LIFE SKILLS. ROBOTICS IS JUST ONE OF THE THINGS KIDS ARE INVOLVED IN AND THEY PARTICIPATE IN COMPETITIONS SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE TEAM ATTENDED ONE OF FOUR MEETINGS TO MEET LODGE MEMBERS AND TO DEMONSTRATE THE ROBOTS AND ANSWER QUESTIONS ON THE VARIOUS PARTS OF COMPETITIONS. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN SUPPORTING CHILDREN AT CHILD HAVEN IN LAS VEGAS FOR 11 YEARS. THESE CHILDREN HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THEIR HOMES THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN AND PLACED IN CHILD HAVEN FOR PROTECTIVE CUSTODY. LODGE 1 MEMBERS VISIT CHILD HAVEN ONCE A MONTH AND BRING PIZZA, DRINKS, AND DESSERTS TO CELEBRATE THE KIDS' BIRTHDAYS AND SUPPORT THEM.
