THE ROXANNE DANCE FOUNDATION MADE A STRONG EFFORT TO EXPAND THEIRAUDIENCE TO INCLUDE THE YOUNGER GENERATION OF DANCERS AND DANCEMAKERS. LAST YEAR, THE FOUNDATION OFFERED YOUNG ARTISTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CURATE ONE COMPLETE SUNDAY OF PROGRAMMING. THIS PARTICULAR SUNDAY ATTRACTED MANY OF THE YOUNG CURATORS FRIENDS AND OTHER ARTISTS OF HER GENERATION, CREATING A DIVERSE AUDIENCE OF MANY AGES. ROXANNE DANCE FOUNDATION DETERMINED THAT HAVING A YOUNG ARTIST CURATE ONE OF THE ARTISTS SHOWN FOR EACH PERFORMANCE OF THE SUNDAYS ON BROADWAY SEASON WOULD SUCCESSFULLY EXPAND THE AUDIENCE AT WEISACRES. OUR WEBSITE CONTINUES TO BE DEVELOPED AND THE INSTAGRAM PAGE NOW HAS OVER 1,000 FOLLOWERS. THE SUNDAYS ON BROADWAY ONLINE GALLERY REMAINS AN ACTIVE PROJECT WITH NEW ARTISTS ADDED EACH SEASON.
