SALT IS A COMMUNITY OF PROGRESSIVE LAW TEACHERS, LAW SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS, LIBRARIANS, ACADEMIC SUPPORT EXPERTS, STUDENTS AND AFFILIATES. SALT HAS BEEN WORKING FOR MORE THAN 40 YEARS TO IMPROVE THE LEGAL PROFESSION, THE LAW ACADEMY AND EXPAND THE POWER OF LAW TO UNDER-SERVED COMMUNITIES. SALT ENGAGES IN WORK WITHIN AND BEYOND THE LAW SCHOOL TO ADVANCE SOCIAL JUSTICE.

SOME OF THE YEAR'S INITIATIVES REPRESENTATIVE THEIR EFFORTS ARE LISTED BELOW: - SALT AND THE THE AMERICAN CONSTITUTION SOCIETY CO-SPONSORED THE 2022 ROBERT COVER WORKSHOP, SAFEGUARDING DECOCRACY: LESSONS LEARNED FROM 1/6 IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE AALS ANNUAL MEETING - SALT HOSED A SOCIAL JUSTICE WEBINAR ENTITLED CRITICAL JUSTICE: ADVOCACY IN LAW AND SOCIETY- SALT SPONSORED THE 16TH ANNUAL LUTIE A. LYTLE BLACK WOMEN LAW FACULTY WOKRSHOP AT BOSTON UNIVERISTY SCHOOL OF LAW- SALT JOINED THE CHORUS OF LEGAL EDUCATORS, ACTIVISTS, AND SCHOLARS IN MOURNING THE LOSS OF AN ICON IN LEGAL EDUCATION PRESERVING RACE-CONSCIOUS ADMISSIONS IN HIGHER EDUCATION: IN LIGHT OF THE SUPREME COURT'S DECISION TO HEAR ARGUMENTS ON RACE-CONSCIOUS ADMISSIONS IN THE STUDENTS FOR FAIR ADMISSION V.
