ORGANIZATION PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS THROUGH: STATE ANNUAL CONVENTION, SPRING CONFERENCE, ADAPTED PHYSICAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE, LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE, AND INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL HEALTH EDUCATION CONFERENCE. THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCES ARE BASED ON THE NEEDS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PARTICIPANTS THROUGH EVALUATIONS AND SURVEYS. WE UTILIZE THE DATA TO ASSIST IN GIVING PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE GROWTH IN CURRICULUM AND ASSESSMENT AND CURRENT TRENDS IN EDUCATION. DESIRED OUTCOMES ARE: TO IMPROVE INSTRUCTION, IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING, PARTICIPANTS ARE CHALLENGED TO ARTICULATE WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED.
