TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO DAKOTA BOYS AND GIRLS RANCH TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
DAKOTA BOYS AND GIRLS RANCH FOUNDATION OPERATES NINE THRIFT STORES IN NORTH DAKOTA AND MINNESOTA TO HELP FUND OUR MISSION AND TO PROVIDE VALUABLE JOB SKILLS, TRAINING AND REHABILITATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS. THE THRIFT STORES ALSO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL HISTORY OF RECRUITING AND WORKING WITH COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS OF ALL AGES.
THE RANCH OFFERS RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES ACROSS NORTH DAKOTA FOR YOUTH WHO ARE EXPERIENCING SEVERE EMOTIONAL ISSUES, DEVELOPMENTAL DIFFICULTIES, AND OTHER DISORDERS. HOLISTIC CARE FOR EACH CHILD IS PROVIDED THROUGH APPROPRIATE THERAPY, EDUCATION AND SPIRITUAL LIFE PROGRAMMING.
FOUNDED BY CHRISTIANS, DAKOTA BOYS AND GIRLS RANCH FOUNDATION CONTINUES ITS MISSION: "TO HELP AT-RISK CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES SUCCEED IN THE NAME OF CHRIST" BY OFFERING A SPIRITUAL LIFE PROGRAM TO RESIDENTS OF DAKOTA BOYS AND GIRLS RANCH. PARTICIPATION IS VOLUNTARY.
