IT IS THE MISSION OF THE CENTER FOR INDEPENDENCE FOUNDATION TO SOLICIT AND MANAGE BOTH CURRENT AND ADVANCE GIFTS OF MONEY AND PROPERTY EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY ACCESS AND INDEPENDENCE FOR PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, ESPECIALLY THOSE PERSONS SERVED BY THE HURON AREA CENTER FOR INDPENDENCE.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND: PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIP TO 9 RECIPIENTS THAT ENROLLED AS A STUDENT AT A INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION. ALL RECIPIENTS ARE THE CHILDREN OF FULL TIME EMPLOYEES OF THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION.
REPLACED 3 HOYERLIFTS IN 3 RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENTS OF THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION. THIS BENEFITS 22 RESIDENTS.
SET UP FEE FOR A SCHEDULING SOFTWARE FOR THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION. THIS BENEFIT ALL STAFF OF THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION.
