THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND REGIONAL WORKSHOPS FOR NETWORKING AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.


THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL AWARDS CONTEST TO REWARD EXCELLENCE IN PUBLISHING AND TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK FROM JUDGES. THE EQUINE INDUSTRY VISION AWARD IS GIVEN ANNUALLY IN RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP, CREATIVITY AND MERITORIOUS CONTRIBUTION TO POSITIVE CHANGES IN THE EQUINE INDUSTRY. AHP PRESENTS THE AHP CHAMPION AWARD TO INDIVIDUALS FOR THEIR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO THE ASSOCIATION AND TO ITS GROWTH. THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS A STUDENT AWARD TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES TO COLLEGE STUDENTS PURSUING A CAREER IN EQUINE MEDIA.


THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS AN EQUINE INSUSTRY SURVEY EVERY THREE YEARS TO GAUGE PARTICIPATION TRENDS AND MANAGEMENT PRACTICES IN THE U.S. EQUINE INDUSTRY.
