THE AMERICAN FRIENDS OF COVENT GARDEN AND THE ROYAL BALLET IS AN AMERICAN SUPPORT ORGANIZATION FOR THE OPERATIONS OF THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE IN LONDON. DURING THE 2020-2021 FISCAL YEAR THE AMERICAN FRIENDS OF COVENT GARDEN & THE ROYAL BALLET PROVIDED A TOTAL OF $1,224,642 IN GRANT SUPPORT FOR OPERA AND BALLET PRODUCTIONS AT THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE IN LONDON, AS WELL AS TO SUPPORT GENERAL OPERATING AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES OF THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE. THIS HAS BEEN PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT AS COVID-19 RESTRICTED LIVE PERFORMANCES AND TICKET REVENUES. OVER THE LAST TEN YEARS TOTAL GRANTS TO THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE WERE OVER $45 MILLION.
