THE WALDORF SCHOOL OF PHILADELPHIA IS AN URBAN, ORGANIC LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IN THE HEART OF GERMANTOWN, BASED ON RUDOLF STEINER'S PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION, FOR NURSERY THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE. THE SCHOOL INCLUDES EARLY CHILDHOOD, LOWER SCHOOL, AND MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND INTEGRATES SPECIAL SUBJECTS. THE SCHOOL ALSO PROVIDES STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES, LEARNING SUPPORT, AND COUNSELLING SUPPORT, AFTER SCHOOL CARE, STUDY GROUPS WITH FAMILY INVOLVEMENT, AND SEASONAL FAMILY ACTIVITIES.
