DURING OUR 2023-2024 SEASON CHORAL ARTS PRESENTED FIVE CONCERTS: IMMORTAL BACH CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT THE MONTEVERDI VESPERS OF 1610 SONGS OF EXILE AND HOPE AND DIDO AND AENEAS IN CONCERT. WE ENGAGED OUR COMMUNITY BY OFFERING A BAROQUE BOOT CAMP FOR STUDENTS OF THE PRIMAVERA FUND WHO PERFORMED WITH OUR PROFESSIONAL INSTRUMENTALISTS FOR THE DIDO CONCERT AND A COMPANION "PAY WHAT YOU WISH" CONCERT FOR THE COMMUNITY. AUDIENCE NUMBERS INCREASED BY MORE THAN 30% THIS SEASON AND INCLUDED NEW AUDIENCE MEMBERS ATTRACTED BY OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH ART REACH PHILADELPHIA AN ORGANIZATION THAT OFFERS DISCOUNTED TICKETS TO THE DISABLED AND PENNSYLVANIA EBT CARD HOLDERS. OUR AVOCATIONAL CHOIR AVERAGED AROUND 40 MEMBERS AND WE EMPLOYED AN AVERAGE OF 15 PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS FOR EACH CONCERT.
