THE KELLY ANNE DOLAN MEMORIAL FUND LIGHTENS THE BURDEN AND LIFTS THE SPIRITS OF FAMILIES CARING FOR CHILDREN LIVING WITH ILLNESSES, DISABILITIES, AND INJURIES, WHILE RESPECTING THE DIGNITY OF FAMILIES IN NEED AND CELEBRATING LIFE. WE PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND DIRECT SUPPORT FOR NEEDS NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE AND A VARIETY OF RESPITE PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES RESIDING IN OR CHILDREN RECEIVING CARE IN PENNSYLVANIA, NEW JERSEY, AND DELAWARE. WE ALSO ADVOCATE FOR AND PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO FAMILIES NATIONWIDE.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED 6/30/22, THE DOLAN FUND PROVIDED $230,449 IN CASH ASSISTANCE TO 468 FAMILIES WITH A SERIOUSLY ILL OR DISABLED CHILD, TO PAY ESSENTIAL EXPENSES NOT COVERED BY MEDICAL INSURANCE. BY LIGHTENING THE FINANCIAL BURDENS FOR THESE FAMILIES, WE HELPED IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES EXPERIENCE BY THE CHILDREN.


HOLIDAY ADOPT-A-FAMILY AND THANKSGIVING BASKETSWE PROVIDED 20 FAMILIES WITH THANKSGIVING DAY BASKETS TO FAMILIES CARING FOR SERIOUSLY ILL, INJURED, AND SEVERELY DISABLED CHILDREN. WE ALLEVIATED THE EMOTIONAL BURDENS OF 264 FAMILIES THROUGH OUR HOLIDAY ADOPT A FAMILY PROGRAM LAST YEAR. OUR PROGRAM GAVE THESE FAMILIES A VERY SPECIAL CELEBRATION, ALLEVIATING STRESS AND CREATING TREMENDOUS JOY. THEY RECEIVED GIFTS VALUED AT $39,180.


VIRTUAL SUPPORT GROUPSFOUR VIRTUAL SUPPORT GROUPS FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN LIVING WITH ILLNESSES AND DISABILITIES WERE HELD OVER THE COURSE OF THE YEAR. THESE VIRTUAL GROUPS WERE HELD TO PROVIDE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND AS A WAY TO REPLACE THE IN-PERSON FAMILY FUN DAYS WE TYPICALLY OFFER.


ALL OTHER EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH PROGRAMMING.
