EDUCATION AT CONVENTIONS, MEETINGS, EVENTS, HQ (NJ) & OUR PHILA PA CENTER --FOR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC. AVS PRESENTS ITS OWN PROGRAMS (ANNUAL GARDEN PARTY/MEETING, DINNERS, LECTURES, COOKING CLASSES FOR CHILDREN & ADULTS, INTERNSHIPS PRIMARILY FOR TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS) AND ATTENDS (TO SPEAK, GIVE CLASSES, PROVIDE INFORMATION) OTHER EVENTS (EG ENVIRONMENTAL & HEALTH FAIRS). WE IMPART AND SHARE INFORMATION ON COMPASSIONATE LIVING INCLUDING PRACTICAL DEMONSTRATIONS OF WHAT TO EAT AND WEAR, GENERAL HEALTH GUIDANCE, DISTRIBUTING PRINTED/MEDIA INFO, AND MORE. IN 2021 WE INTRODUCED ZOOM LECTURES VIEWED BY MEMBERS AND OTHERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, AND PEOPLE ABROAD.
EDUCATION THROUGH OUR MAGAZINE & WEBSITE. MAGAZINE IS INFORMATIVE AND MOTIVATIONAL REGARDING THE VEGAN WAY OF LIFE, TEACHES RESPONSIBILITY TO THE ENVIRONMENT, AND COMPASSIONATE LIVING IN GENERAL. IT INCLUDES NEWS, OPINION, HEALTH ADVICE, COOKING/FOOD INFO, FASHION AND LIFESTYLE FEATURES, AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 3,500PRINT RUN (1,000 EMAILED PDF COPY) AND APPEARS ON OUR WEBSITE.
