PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM FIRE AND THE RESULTING DAMAGE. DURING 2021, MIDDLEBUSH VOL FIRE DEPT. RESPONDED TO APPROXIMATELY 983 CALLS PROTECTING LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM FIRE DAMAGE.


IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE COMMUNITY, FIREMEN MUST BE TRAINED. IN 2021, DRILLS AND TRAINING COURSES REPRESENTING APPROXIMATELY 2,175 MANHOURS WERE COMPLETED.


MAINTAINING THE BUILDING AND EQUIPMENT IS CRITICAL TO BE READY TO RESPOND TO CALLS AND TO TRAIN THE FIREMEN. DURING 2021, APPROXIMATELY 510 MANHOURS WERE SPENT IN THE UP-KEEP OF THE BUILDING AND EQUIPMENT


INFRUSTRUCTURE TO SUPPORT THE FIREHOUSE AND RELATED EQUIPMENT MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE VOLUNTEERS. A TOTAL OF 5,392 MANHOURS WERE UTILIZED IN 2021 MAINTAINING THE FIRETRUCKS, EQUIPMENT AND BUILDING.
