THE CORPORATION PROVIDES LOW INCOME HOUSING TO ELDERLY/NEEDY CITIZENS OF MANCHESTER, CT THE HOUSING CONSISTS OF RENTAL UNITS/APARTMENTS HOUSED IN MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENCES. THE MONTHLY RENT PER EACH APARTMENT IS SUFFICIENT TO MAINTAIN THE BUILDINGS AND PROVIDE STABILITY TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THE MONTHLY RENT PER EACH APARTMENT IS SET AT A RATE THAT ALLOWS THE RESIDENTS TO GAIN A SENSE OF SELF-WORTH IN MANAGING THEIR OWN FINANCIAL AFFAIRS IN A SETTING OF OTHER LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS.
