CDBG AND HOME REHABILITATION PROGRAM HELPS LOW INCOME FAMILIES WITH SUBSTANDARD HOUSING MEET LOCAL SAFETY AND BUILDING CODES. IN FISCAL YEAR 2018, SUBSTANTIAL PROGRAMS REVENUE AND EXPENSE WAS RELATED TO REPLACING MANUFACTURED HOUSING.


HOUSING HOME OWNERSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES HOUSING COUNSELING AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO LOW INCOME RESIDENTS OF ESSEX AND CLINTON COUNTIES PURCHASING A HOME. PROVIDES LOCAL GOVERNMENT WITH ASSISTANCE IN ADMINISTERING THEIR HOUSING GRANTS.


SECTION 8 PROGRAM PROVIDES ADMINISTRATION SERVICES TO NYS DHCR IN ADMINISTERING HUD SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS IN ESSEX AND CLINTON COUNTIES.
