THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS IS A CATHOLIC MENS FRATERNAL BENEFIT SOCIETY THAT WAS FORMED TO RENDER FINANCIAL AID TO MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. SOCIAL AND INTELLECTUAL FELLOWSHIP IS PROMOTED THROUGH CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, SOCIAL WELFARE, AND PUBLIC WORKS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE COUNCIL SUPPORTED THE RAISING OF FUNDS FOR, PURCHASE OF, AND DISTRIBUTION OF COATS TO NEEDY CHILDREN IN THE MONADNOCK REGION OF NEW HAMPSHIRE. COATS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO AREA SCHOOLS, SHELTERS, AND OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS FOR DIRECT DISTRIBUTION TO THOSE IN NEED.


THE COUNCIL RAISED AND DISTRIBUTED FUNDS FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE MENTALLY HANDICAPPED, AREA HOMELESS AND UNDEREMPLOYED, AND LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES. VOLUNTEERING THE TIME OF ITS MEMBERS TO EVENTS, MEAL DISTRIBUTION, AND LOGISTICS IN SUPPORT OF THE AFOREMENTIONED ACTIVITIES.


THE COUNCIL RAISED AND DISTRIBUTED FUNDS FOR THE SUPPORT OF PRIESTS AND SEMINARIANS IN THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.
