COLORADO CHAPTER OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FAMILY AND CONCILIATORY COURTS OFFERED TEN EDUCATION PROGRAMMING OPPORTUNITIES TO ITS MEMBERSHIP IN 2019. THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS A YEARLY SPRING MEMBERSHIP MEETING WITH A DAY LONG WORKSHOP WITH LUNCHEON AND ELECTION OF BOARD OFFICERS. THE PROGRAM HAD AN ATTENDANCE OF 103 REGISTRANTS. THE STATE COAFCC CONFERENCE WAS OFFERED IN BRECKENRIDGE IN THE FALL FOR A FULL WEEKEND OF NATIONAL SPEAKERS AND LOCAL WORKSHOP PANELISTS WITH 76 REGISTRANTS. THERE ARE TWO REGIONAL PROGRAMS OFFERED IN NORTHERN COLORADO AND SOUTHERN COLORADO. EACH REGION PROVIDED FOUR WORKSHOPS EACH WHICH INCLUDED LOCAL SPEAKERS AND A DINNER MEAL. NORTHERN COLORADO IS IN ITS THIRD YEAR AND IS QUITE SUCCESSFUL IN CONSISTENT ATTENDANCE RANGING FROM 60-75 EACH SESSION. SOUTHERN COLORADO BEGAN TWO YEARS AGO. THE ATTENDANCE RANGED FROM 33-55 REGISTRANTS EACH SESSION. AS THERE ARE MULTIPLE OCCASIONS FOR SOME OF THE COAFCC MEMBERSHIP TO ATTEND MANY OF THESE STATEWIDE PROGRAMS IT IS DIFFICULT TO OFFER AN EXACT NUMBER OF HOW MANY PEOPLE TOTAL FOR THE YEAR WERE DIRECTLY SERVED FROM THE TOTAL MEMBERSHIP OF 253. THE RAW NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IN PROGRAMS IS 593. THERE ADDITIONALLY WAS A POP-UP PROGRAM OFFERED IN GLENWOOD SPRINGS THAT WAS SUPPORTED BY COAFCC AT NO COST TO PARTICIPANTS. OVERALL THE EFFORTS OF COAFCC IS TO OFFER EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR FAMILY LAW SERVICE TRAINING, JUDICIAL PANELS, AND SUPPORTING LOCAL SPEAKERS WHO DONATE THEIR TIME AND EXPERTISE TO THE MEMBERSHIP TO PROMOTE THE SUPPORT AND HEALING OF SEPARATING AND DIVORCING FAMILIES. THE PROFITS MADE IN THESE TEN EDUCATION PROGRAMS BENEFITS AND SUPPORTS THE COAFCC MEMBERSHIP IN THE TRAINED PROVISION OF FAMILY LAW SERVICES.
