CEAM IS BUILDING A NETWORK OF CONCERNED PARENTS, BUSINESS AND CIVIC LEADERS, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS THROUGH OUR OUTREACH AND MOBILIZATION EFFORTS. CEAM CONNECTS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, CHURCH GROUPS, SCHOOLS, AND OTHERS ABOUT THE NEED FOR IMPROVEMENT AND INNOVATION IN OUR CURRENT EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM. CEAM REACHES CONSTITUENTS THROUGH LIVE EVENTS, PHONE CALLS, DOOR-TO-DOOR CANVASING, ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS, SOCIAL MEDIA, AND TRADITIONAL MEDIA. CEAM HELPS PARENTS AND OTHER MOBILIZE FOR CHANGE TO ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE EDUCATION POLICY IN MISSOURI.

CEAM STAFF MONITORS THE EDUCATIONAL ADVOCACY LANDSCAPE FOR OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS AND OTHER ADVOCATES TO AMPLIFY THEIR VOICES AND TELL THEIR STORIES. IN 2022, CEAM TRAINED ADDITIONAL PARENTS IN POLICY AND COMMUNICATION. FROM THOSE PARENTS, MANY SHARED THEIR PERSONAL STORIES THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA AND IN DIRECT MEETINGS WITH DECISION MAKERS INCLUDING SCHOOL BOARDS, THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION, STAFF MEMBERS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION AND WITH THEIR ELECTED OFFICIALS.
CEAM MONITORS OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS TO TAKE ACTION AND CONNECT WITH ELECTED LEADERS. CEAM HELPS FACILITATE PARENT ADVOCACY DURING EACH LEGISLATIVE SESSION. CEAM ORGANIZES AND ENGAGES PARENTS IN RALLIES AND OTHER EVENTS. CEAM HELPS PARENTS CONNECT WITH THE MEDIA TO SUBMIT LETTERS TO THE EDITORS OF MANY NEWSPAPERS.
