THE BRONX RHIO OPERATES A SECURE, INTEROPERABLE CLINICAL HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE THAT ENABLES HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS ACROSS THE GREATER NYC AREA TO ACCESS CRITICAL PATIENT INFORMATION FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES AND MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR PATIENTS' MEDICAL RECORDS TO FOLLOW THEM WHEREVER THEY GO FOR HEALTH SERVICES IN THE GREATER NYC AREA.

WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING AND ADVANCING THE USE OF HEALTHCARE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND DEVELOPED AND OPERATES A SECURE CLINICAL DATA EXCHANGE NETWORK FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF NEW YORK WITH THE INTENTION OF ENHANCING PUBLIC SAFETY AND WELFARE, REDUCING DATA ERRORS AND FACILITATING THE ABILITY TO PARTICIPATE WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO MONITOR HEALTH TRENDS. THE BRONX RHIO, INC. ACHIEVED A CRITICAL MILESTONE WITH THE "GO LIVE" OF A SECURE CLINICAL DATA EXCHANGE NETWORK. THE RESIDENTS OF NEW YORK ARE NOW BENEFITING FROM THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS INFORMATION FROM WHEREVER THEY SEEK CARE AMONG BRONX RHIO, INC. MEMBER INSTITUTIONS.
