IN 2014 INMER HELD A SMALLER EVENT TO CELEBRATE THE SUMMER SOLSTICE IN SANTA BARBARA, CA AND CONTINUE TO WORK TOWARDS MOMENTUM FOR A LARGER EVENT IN FUTURE YEARS. OVER 30 PARTICIPANTS GATHERED FOR A SUNRISE CELEBRATION AS ONE CHUMASH TOMOL LANDED ON THE BEACH. THROUGHOUT THE MORNING PARTICIPANTS WERE INVITED TO PADDLE THE TOMOL AND IMMERSE THEMSELVES IN THIS POWERFUL MARITIME CULTURAL EXPERIENCE.
