THE HELLENIC OUTREACH PROGRAM IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT ENCOURAGES THE STUDY AND UNDERSTANDING OF HELLENISM BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO ACADEMIC PROGRAMS AND STUDENTS. THE PROGRAM PROMOTES CULTURAL EVENTS FOCUSING ON HELLENISM, THE DEVELOPMENT OF HELLENIC STUDIES CENTERS IN THE UNITED STATES, THE HELLENIC-ORIENTED RESEARCH INTERESTS OF UNIVERSITY FACULTY, INSTRUCTORS, AND STUDENTS, AND COLLABORATION OF HELLENIC STUDIES INSTITUTIONS BOTH WITHIN THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD.THE PROGRAM WORKS TO HIGHLIGHT THE SIGNIFICANCE AND RELEVANCE OF GREECE IN BOTH THE HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL CONTEXT OF CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY. THE PROGRAM'S MAIN EMPHASIS IS TO SUPPORT ACADEMIC ENDEAVORS TO FULFILL THIS MISSION. THE PROGRAM SOLICITS DONATIONS FROM VARIOUS SOURCES AND MEETS TO DETERMINE THE PROJECTS AND/OR PROGRAMS THAT WILL RECEIVE FINANCIAL SUPPORT.
