IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR RESIDENTS OF WESTMONT VILLAGE. PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR RESIDENTS WHO BECOME UNABLE TO PAY FEES TO REMAIN AS RESIDENTS OF WESTMONT VILLAGE. PROVIDE RECREATION, SOCIALIZATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES TO RESIDENTS. PROVIDE AN INTERFACE ORGANIZATION WITH WESTMONT VILLAGE FOR RESIDENT CONCERNS, PROBLEMS AND REQUESTS.

LIFE CARE FUND - PROJECT TO DISTRIBUTE FUNDS SET ASSIDE BY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR THE RESIDENTS WHO HAD LOST THEIR CCRC CONTRACTS DUE TO THE BANKRUPTCY OF THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THE VILLAGE.


CONCERT PROGRAM: WE HIRE PROFESSIONAL CONCERT PERFORMERS TO PERFORM MOSTLY CLASSICAL CHAMBER MUSIC PERFORMANCES FOR WESTMONT VILLAGE RESIDENTS. IT INCLUDES RENTING THE VENUE, TUNING PIANOS AND PROVIDING REFRESHMENTS.


PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS: VARIOUS ONE-TIME PROJECTS. RESIDENT COUNCIL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES, WOOD HOBBY SHOP OPERATION, COMPUTER ROOM OPERATION, TRAIL PROGRAM, RESIDENT LOSS OF CONTRACT DUE TO BANKRUPTCY COMPENSATION PROGRAM, VILLAGE SHOPPE RETAIL OPERATION.


THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES TWO GRANTS TO INLAND EMPIRE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION


RESIDENT COUNCIL: RESIDENT VOLUNTEERS STAFF A RESIDENT COUNCIL WHICH IS PART OF THE FOUNDATION. THIS COUNCIL STOCKS AND MAINTAINS VARIOUS ON-SITE LIBRARIES. IT PUBLISHES A MONTHLY MAGAZINE HIGHLIGHTING RESIDENT ACTIVITIES, LOCAL INTEREST ITEMS, HISTORICAL INFORMATION OF THE LOCAL AREA AND REPORTS ON AND INTRODUCES NEW RESIDENTS OF THE VILLAGE. IT ALSO PROVIDES AND FUNDS ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS FOR RESIDENTS.


VILLAGE CONCERT PROGRAM - PROVIDING FOUR CONCERTS AT WESTMONT VILLAGE PER YEAR. THE CONCERTS CONSIST OF PARLOR MUSIC PERFORMED BY PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS.


VILLAGE SHOPPE: THE FOUNDATION OPERATES A SMALL RETAIL OPERATION SO THAT RESIDENTS WITH MOBILITY PROBLEMS CAN OBTAIN COMMONLY NEEDED SMALL ITEMS LIKE STAMPS, CARDS, SOME FOOD ITEMS, CLOTHING ITEMS, ETC. WITHOUT HAVING TO ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION FROM THE VILLAGE AND BACK.
