THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE SECURE DATA EXCHANGE AMONG PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY AND COST OF HEALTHCARE IN THE MEMPHIS, TN AREA. THE HEALTH INFORMATION DATA EXCHANGE NETWORK IS OPERATING IN SEVERAL HOSPITALS AND CLINICS IN THE MEMPHIS AREA. USING THE INFORMATION DATA EXCHANGE NETWORK PROVIDES THE PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS TIMELY ACCESS TO MEDICAL INFORMATION WHICH ENABLES THEM TO PROVIDE BETTER QUALITY HEALTH CARE AND UTILIZE RESOURCES MORE EFFICIENTLY.
