PEACETREES VIETNAM (PEACETREES), A NONPROFIT CORPORATION, IS DEDICATED TO THE HEALING OF COMMUNITIES IMPACTED BY THE CONSEQUENCES OF WAR. OUR MISSION IS TO HEAL THE LEGACY OF WAR BY REMOVING DANGEROUS EXPLOSIVES, RETURNING LAND TO SAFE USE, PROMOTING PEACE, AND CULTIVATING A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR THE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES OF VIETNAM.

LANDMINE AND UNEXPLODED ORDANANCE (UXO) REMOVAL AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT: THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS THE REMOVAL OF LANDMINES AND UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE TO PROMOTE A SAFE AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN CENTRAL VIETNAM. COMMUNITY SUPPORT IS ALSO PROVIDED TO VIETNAMESE FAMILIES THROUGH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CHILDREN; BUILDING LIBRARIES AND SCHOOLS; PROVIDING MICROCREDIT LOANS; AND SPONSORING CITIZEN DIPLOMACY TRIPS FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT VIETNAM, THE AFTEREFFECTS OF WAR, AND THE ORGANIZATION'S HUMANITARIAN WORK.
