TO ASSIST VETERINARY STUDENTS AND TECHNICIANS BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND ENDOWMENTS, WHILE ALSO PROVIDING SERVICE PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP ANIMAL WELFARE.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SPAYING AND NEUTERING SERVICES, AT NO COST, FOR LESS-FORTUNATE AND OFTEN STRAY ANIAMALS, THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF ALABAMA, TO AID IN ANIMAL HEALTH AND WELFARE.


THE FOUNDATION AWARDS TWO SCHOLARSHIPS EACH YEAR TO VETERINARY STUDENTS THAT EXEMPLIFY EXCELLENT MORAL CHARACTER, LEADERSHIP SKILLS, AND WHOM MAINTAIN GPA OF 3.0 OR GREATER.


THE FOUNDATION'S DISASTER RELIEF PROGRAM WAS ESTABLISHED AFTER THE WAKE OF DETRIMENTAL WEATHER DISASTERS TO HELP ASSIST WITH THE RESCUING AND SUBSEQUENT ANIMAL CARE NEEDS, FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE DAMAGING RESULTS OF SEVERE WEATHER DISASTERS.


SOME OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE AN ARRAY OF CHARITABLE DONATION TYPES INCLUDING 1) THE WELLNESS PROGRAM, 2) "IN MEMORY OF" DONATIONS, 3) DONOR WALL, 4) PET MEMORIAL CARDS, 5) MEMBERSHIP DUES, AND 6) SILENT AUCTION.
