INCREASE AWARENESS OF BIOPESTICIDES AS EFFECTIVE PRODUCTS, REALIZE FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS TO THE REGULATORY PROCESS AROUND THE WORLD AND PROVIDE VALUABLE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

THE ALLIANCE'S PROGRAMS ARE GEARED TO IMPROVE THE GLOBAL MARKET PERCEPTION OF BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS INCLUDING BIOPESTICIDES, BIOSTIMULANTS AND BIOFERTILIZERS AS EFFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND THE FACILITATION OF SUCCESSFUL REGISTRATON PROCESSES FOR SUCH PRODUCTS. ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP IS NOW APPROACHING 160 COMPANIES. BPIA INCLUDES SEVERAL COMMITTEES THAT BRING TOGETHER THE RESOURCES AND THE FOCUS NECESSARY TO ACHIEVE THE ORGANIZATION'S MANY OBJECTIVES. THE ASSOCIATION MEETS PERIODICALLY WITH KEY REGULATORS AT USEPA, USDA, VARIOUS STATES, AND CANADA'S PMRA AND CFIA; STAFF REPRESENT BPIA ON EPA'S PESTICIDE PROGRAM DIALOGUE COMMITTEE (PPDC). INTERACTIONS WITH THE REGULATORS ARE UTILIZED TO RAISE AND RESOLVE ISSUES, COMMENT CONSTRUCTIVELY ON EMERGING POLICIES AND REGULATIONS, AND LEARN HOW REGISTRANTS CAN IMPROVE THEIR SUBMISSIONS. THE ORGANIZATION DISSEMINATES ITS FINDINGS TO THE MEMBERSHIP VIA ITS WEBSITE, BASECAMP, MEMBER NEWSLETTERS, EMAIL UPDATES, AND REPORTS AT MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS. INPUT AND QUESTIONS FROM BPIA MEMBER COMPANIES REGARDING REGULATORY ISSUES ARE WELCOME.
