THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR NORTHERN VIRGINIA GROWS PHILANTHROPY TO RESPOND TO NEED, SEED INNOVATION AND LEAD AND CONVENE THE COMMUNITY. COMPRISED OF DONOR ADVISED FUNDS, PERMANENT FUNDS, GIVING CIRCLES, AND OTHER CHARITABLE ENDOWMENTS, THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION CONNECTS DONORS TO COMMUNITY AND PROMOTES A MORE EQUITABLE AND INCLUSIVE PROSPERITY THAT MARRIES OUR ECONOMIC STRENGTH WITH THE FULL BREADTH OF OUR DIVERSE COMMUNITY.

THE MISSION OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA FAMILY SERVICE (NVFS) IS "TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE, AND TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY COOPERATION AND SUPPORT IN RESPONDING TO FAMILY NEEDS." NVFS WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1924 BY COMMUNITY RESIDENTS RESPONDING TO THEIR NEIGHBORS' OVERWHELMING NEED FOR FOOD, CLOTHING, AND FUEL. FOR NEARLY 100 YEARS, NVFS HAS CONTINUED TO EVOLVE OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO MEET THE CHANGING NEEDS AND CHALLENGES OF THE OVERALL REGION. NVFS POSITIVELY IMPACTS THE LIVES OF MORE THAN 30,000 INDIVIDUALS EACH YEAR WHO ARE EXPERIENCING POVERTY IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA THROUGH TRANSFORMATIVE PROGRAMS AND PARTNERSHIPS THAT ENGAGE A WRAPAROUND APPROACH TO MEET PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE ON THEIR PERSONAL JOURNEY TO ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE AND WELLBEING.

MISSION:

THE AMERICAN CRAFT SPIRITS ASSOCIATION IS A REGISTERED NON-PROFIT TRADE GROUP REPRESENTING THE U.S. CRAFT SPIRITS INDUSTRY. MEMBERS VOTE FOR THE FIFTEEN DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES WHO MAKE UP THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, AND THIS BOARD COLLECTIVELY WORKS TO GOVERN THE ACSA IN A TRANSPARENT, RESPONSIVE MANNER AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR BYLAWS.
