THE FOUNDATION FUNDED 15 GRANTS FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH ACCORDING TO ITS MISSION STATEMENT. EACH RESEARCH GRANT WAS MONITORED BY THE FOUNDATION'S SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE TO INSURE THE INVESTIGATORS WERE PROPERLY EXPENSING THEIR GRANTS AND THE INVESTIGATORS DID SUBMIT PROGRESS REPORTS FOR THE COMMITTEE TO MONITOR. THESE RESEARCH PROGRAMS ALLOW THE ADVANCEMENT OF MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE.
