TO ENHANCE AND PRESERVE THE AGRICULTURAL AND HISTORICAL LEGACY OF NEW YORK STATE. ALSO TO PROVIDE THE RESIDENTS OF WESTERN NEW YORK WITH THE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS TO EXPAND THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF AGRICULTURE AND ANIMAL CARE IN NEW YORK STATE.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE SOCIETY SPONSORS THE ERIE COUNTY FAIR, WHICH IS HELD ANNUALLY AND INTENDED TO PROMOTE AND SHOWCASE OUR PRIDE IN THE HERITAGE, AGRICULTURE, AND CREATIVE TALENTS OF OUR COMMUNITY.
HORSE, CATTLE, HOG, AND FARM EQUIPMENT SHOWS. THESE SHOWS ARE HELD IN THE SHOWPLEX. THE SHOWS HAVE EXHIBITS THAT SHOWCASE AGRICULTURAL LIFE IN WESTERN NEW YORK.
