THE RENSSELAER COUNTY REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS A BUSINESS, CIVIC AND ECONOMIC ALLIANCE THAT STRIVES TO ENHANCE THE ECONOMIC VITALITY OF RENSSELAER COUNTY AND THE NEIGHBORING GATEWAY COMMUNITIES OF COHOES, GREEN ISLAND, WATERFORD AND WATERVLIET. THE CHAMBER ALSO SEEKS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE COMMUNITY FOR BOTH RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES.

MEMBERSHIP INVOLVES RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS, RETAINING CURRENT MEMBERS, SUPPORTING THEM THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA AND LOCATION BASED ACTIVITIES, AND DEVELOPING/MAINTAINING RELEVANT COMMUNICATIONS.LEADERSHIP PROGRAM IS A SKILLS BASED PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. RGEA IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH THE ABILITY TO PURCHASE ENERGY THROUGH AN ENERGY ALLIANCE
