THE CEMETERY REBUILT AND INSTALLED A NEW CREMATION UNIT FOR THE PURPOSE OF BEING IN COMPLIANCE WITH NEW YORK STATE EMISSION STANDARDS. IN ADDITION, YEAR 2022 IS THE FIRST FULL YEAR THAT A NEW CREMATORY CHAMBER WAS PLACED IN SERVICE, FINANCED BY A NEW YORK STATE DIVISION OF CEMETERIES APPROVED BORROWING FROM THE CEMETERY'S ENDOWMENT FUND.
OVER 75 MONUMENTS LISTED IN DANGEROUS CONDITION WERE REPAIRED AND STABILIZED.
THE CEMETERY REPLACED A STEAM BOILER HEATING PLANT IN THE MAIN OFFICE BUILDING. EXTENSIVE WORK ON PATCHING THE MILES OF ROADWAYS WITHIN THE CEMETERY GROUNDS WAS DONE, AND LANDSCAPING IMPROVEMENTS WERE MADE AS NEW TREES WERE PLANTED.
